Myopia Management Options for Kent County Students

At Cutlerville Eyecare, we offer myopia management options designed to do more than simply correct blurry vision. Low-dose atropine eye drops may be recommended to help slow myopia progression in children. These drops are used in carefully selected concentrations and are incorporated into an ongoing treatment and monitoring plan.

We also offer MiSight 1 day contact lenses. These daily disposable lenses are FDA-approved for myopia control and are designed to provide clear vision while helping slow the progression of nearsightedness in eligible children.

Orthokeratology, also called Ortho-K, is another approach to myopia management. Although we do not currently provide Ortho-K treatment in our office, we can recommend other practices in the area when this option is appropriate.
